Time

Honestly it took me days to draw, mostly i did in my school clases, becouse funny and was bored '~'
If I had to put estimate on then it would go like This

10min = 4x Text ~2.5min
45min = 9x Sketch ~5min
20min = 2x charecters ~10min
80min = 4x Shaded picture ~20min
160min = 4x Colored ~40h (litraly took whole evening for me to scan few pages as i color them digitaly XD)
315min = Total = 5hrs 15min
But take it as you will as i was experimenting with coloring the pages in digitaly (most time went into this ;-;)


Process

So at the start i just made quick prototype art
It was made to start the vision what i want in my game


After i made the first image i had an vision what i wanted my game to be!
So i extracted assets from first image :))

As well more sprites for gui: art art
After I had made som prototype art i started making the real deal
The one that will be featured in game :))
It all starts with drawing at school some sketches of scene

After i had drawn said sketches i added some shading using pencils


After i shaded them (more of shaded in the big image at the end)
I saturate them digitaly using gimp
Then posturize them and set to multiply
And draw some collor :DD
(i have dveloped this process as i made this game so starter assets are bit rougher, non the less like them :]])

And that is prety much it about the art process :))

--STORY--

The game has super cool story where you would go and explore the frozen caves to the city whic has been burried under the snow as former kind lays in there frozen
But then you remove the cursed dager from his heart wich starts unfreazing the whole island turning it back into green hills onece more
Due to time constrains i only managed my npc to foreshadow this and that's all ;-;, buut i had some art of frozen caves in galery... not finnished tho

CODING


It was fully writen by hand,
THE 1400 lines of js
THE 134 lines of html
THE 500 lines of scss

Honestly haven't touched html, scss, js like for whole summer, so i guess this was great refresher
(trough summer i made games using godot :)))
And I am happy about my spagety code :DD
Btw diologue code uses whole alot of cases with some wise mystical numbers ;-;

This game has taken many sacrifises, as of now it's 24.09.2025
and 11:15pm and i've been coding this page FOR 4h AND 30MIN But otherwise this game was so much fun to make, as well i learned so much techinques in drawing
Some more coding skills under my belt as well and absouloutly loved yall for support :DD

I would wan't to add so much more and talk so much more, but don't got time on this project ;-;
